About us

Wild Pursuits Guiding is a collaboration of professional and passionate sporting guides. What has brought us all together is our desire to offer world class hunting and fishing experiences as well as contribute to the conservation efforts in some of the special places of the world. Our ambition as a company is to produce sporting excursions and trips with a difference, and at the same time have a positive impact on the habitats that we work. Although the company only formed in 2019 all of our guide team has had several years of prior guiding experience with either their own companies or with others.

The Wild Pursuits Guiding team has a vast combined experience in hunting and fishing. This has allowed the team to share that wealth of knowledge between ourselves and become even better individual guides as a result. Alongside the teams experience, we believe strongly in having relevant qualifications as this builds further on a guides abilities to provide their client with exciting and informative days in a safe and organised fashion. The team members regularly attend training courses held in the different countries that we work, and this constant personal development helps to keep us up to date with modern techniques, as well as provide inspiration on how we can keep improving as a company.

Through Wild Pursuits Guiding the team also helps run guiding and hosted trips for other well known and established sporting companies within the industries. We run the Salmon and Sea trout guiding at the world famous Reisastua lodge. Working at the lodge gives us the oportunity to meet and guide people from all over the globe who come hoping to hook a giant Atlantic salmon or cast under the northern lights for sea trout. Another world class operation who we work closely with is the superb El Despeñadero partridge shoot in Spain. We help with guided walked up days at El Despeñadero’s dedicated walked up estate El Suizo, as well as hosting driven partridge groups from the UK and Scandinavia.

As mentioned, Wild Pursuits Guiding has a passionate desire to protect the places that we work. We Co-operate closely with several charity based organisations who through science, education and lobbying help to protect the species and places we love so much. Special mentions must go to groups such as the Game & Wildlife Conservation trust (GWCT), Reddreisalaksen and the Atlantic Salmon Trust. We are also members of many other worthy charity groups who we also hope to work closely with in the future.

Our time spent in the field has also attracted the attention of some of the biggest gear manufacturers within the fishing and hunting industry. This attention has led to ambassadorships and collaboration. One of the biggest benefits of us working so closely with these companies is that we can provide our clientele with top quality tried and tested equipment during activities carried out with us. Another plus point to our customers is that they get to use many new products, and test them out in real life situations, where realiable and sturdy gear is needed.
